I have recently bought some items which in my view were not up to scratch. I just want to warn buyers to read thoroughly everything about the item before buying. I made a mistake and did not read it properly.

As a frequent (well LBH ... addicted) ebay buyer I just think it is a given that if you don't read descriptions thoroughly the chances you will disappointed are increased significantly.
As a seller, even though my descriptions are shorter than some, I spend a bit of time on each one to try and ensure that I add in all the most important information that a buyer will need to make their decision.

Um well,if it was the Barbie stuff that you left the less than positive comment about, that is not fair to the seller.

You made a mistake so you turn it back on the seller?
Most of us do read the listings properly so we are not disappointed.

Buyers who don't read the description are the bane of sellers.

She did not leave a "less than positive" comment. She left a positive comment. Made mention she wasn't wrapped about the presentation (whatever that means) and gave postive feedback. A bit unreasonable to criticise.

Not reading description is the norm for most buyers.

I hope you didn't knock the sellers stars for something that was your own fault. The description forms part of the buying contract. Of course you should read it.
