Item description would help, as it may be a huge item and it may be easier than to send it back on spec? the forums can help but we are not mind readers ....as yet.

Depending on size of item, seller may want to see if they can give you advice on how to get it working, rather than you having to pay too much to return it.
If it is a larger item, take a video with your phone, attach to email (relpy to seller) and go from there.
If they give you the run around, open INAD through paypal if that is how you paid, and you will be advised by paypal to send back to the seller (at your expense) do so by trackable means and you will receive a refund from paypal if the seller does not, or will not, address the problem in a sufficient manner.
And try not to be put off by scathing remarks such as above, we all ask for adivce when we need it, and don't need to be made to feel like a tool when we do, that is what the boards are here for.

Sorry for any missunderstanding, the last comment was tongue in cheek, as should have been obvious. The OP was more making a statement than asking for advice, which is becoming more evident on these forums, very scant, often difficult to read between the lines stuff, hence the comment. If members want help, they should be at least giving other members some facts and description, not just a one line sentence with minimal information.

Apologies - I just thought it came across a bit abrupt, and that you didn't have to be much of a mind reader to figure the OP needed assitance in doing the You Tube thing - I don't have a clue how to do it, so hence my alternative suggestions.
It is hard to tell humour / tongue in cheek on here so I do apolgise.
I often get in trouble (from the usual suspects) who I am quite sure know when I am joking, but water off a ducks .........

Actually, it would have helped if I had said what the item was. ( it is a hair curler ). And to ask me to put a clip on U Tube is ridiculous. . They would have seen when I sent it back it was NOT working.
Firstly they refused to give me their return address, secondly they had the audacity to say that I did not even buy the item from them ???
It was only through my insistance that I finally got their email address and sent a clip via this way. But REALLY !!! in reality, how did they even know I had the power on ??? They were just being difficult and did not want to give me a refund.
I will be sending the item back a.s.a.p. ( when post office opens again ).
It was only when I escalated it to a claim, were they cooperative.
For those who were trying to help me, I thank you.....
Have a great Easter all :-)

beauty - please make sure you only send the item back to the address paypal have given you, and send it trackable in case the seller 'does not receive' it.
They don't sound terribly organised so be careful and do everything right.

Hi greencat; it would appear that you type a hell of a lot faster than I do.

Maybe, but then you put in a hell of a lot more info than I do. LOL
