Hi I am from Australia and want to purchase from an US Seller. What is sales tax? And is there any other hidden fees that I will have to pay for shipping? Not sure, thanks in advance...

You will not have to pay any Customs fees or duties if the items you are buying cost less than AU$1000 including postage.
And you should never buy anything without getting a firm postage quote from the seller.
There should not be any "hidden" costs but if the seller is using the Global Shipping Program there have been reports of the shipper Pitney Bowes adding extra charges over and above what shows in the listing.

I think you will find $1000 of goods not including postage.

Yes, it seems to be saying that, but in reality if the charges are assessed you do pay it on the postage so it is far safer to mention it when giving advice.
