can a seller increase postage after payments made

I BID &paid for an item after a few days later th seller required another $10.00 to send the item as she undercharged on the postage Didn't send a new invoice   5 weeks pass she still hasn't sent item  can anyone tell me ebay policy on this as Ive tried to fathom the help thing  total confusion

If you've paid the invoice price and still don't have your item, lodge an INR dispute with Paypal immediately and escalate as soon as possible. If your seller undercharged postage, it's her problem and she has no right to demand that you pay the balance.

She can certainly ask, but you're under no legal obligation to agree to pay any more than the amount invoiced.

Don't wait another minute, open an item not received dispute straight away, I presume you used Paypal, and escalate to a claim as soon as you can, you may be able to do it immediately.

A seller can ask for more postage but you do not have to pay any extra, did you tell the seller you were not prepared to pay more? If they were not going to send it they should have refunded you straight away.

Get your money back through Paypal and then leave them a factual neg feedback.
