Can't imagine how much postage would cost, so why bother?

Flying carpet wearing nifty turban

If the carpet is listed as being available, and the seller sends to Australia, of course you can buy.

If you can't see carpets in Turkey on the eBay.com.au site, you can check on the Turkish site: https://www.gittigidiyor.com/ - but be aware that it's quite likely the seller does not post to Australia. You'll have to ask the seller.

Over the last 10 years I have purchased from Turkey and didn't receive items.

I have also sold to Turkey and had claims of items not received.

I now don't deal with Turkey.

My friends are Turkish and have told me they regularly have items missing when buying from Turkey.

They don't trade with Turkey any longer unless they bring it themselves.

I consider it a risk country for buying and selling. Postal service there is not up international standards.

I don't mind for cheap things, but not sure about expensive stuff.

BTW, their currency is in free fall. Apple raised the prices on iPhones in Turkey 3 weeks ago, but they are still again one of the cheapest countries to buy them. Used to be one of the most expensive countries.
