can't remember what to do

I bought an item from a brand new seller - auction for a  low amount -  paid by paypal, but the payment is unclaimed, presumably because seller has not got paypal.

It is so long since this happened to me that I can't remember what to do now?   Smiley Embarassed

They may have PayPal, but sometimes a seller needs to log in and claim the payment.

I send a message saying they need to claim payment so they can post the item in case seller doesn't know.

If it's a new seller curra perhaps they haven't upgraded to a premier Paypal account, I believe that until they do that they can't receive money for sold items from eBay.

It's all part of eBay's attempt to enhance your selling experience on their platform curra...................true.gif

Another possible scenario...

I remember when my son first set up Ebay and PP accounts to start selling, he had a typo in the PP account name.

The sales went through on Ebay, but the money went nowhere.

IIRC, he had to refund the buyers on Ebay, fix the PP account on the listings, and start again.
