credit to my payal ?

I added credit to my paypal account from my bank acc which states to clear and be available on the 24th april, its now the 26th and still shows as pending.

I added this extra $$ so i can bid and incase i win, i have enough paypal credit to pay for it.

The auction is coming to an end so it looks like i miss out on bidding.

Whats people thoughts on this ?

Just keep bidding. Ebay give buyers up to 8 days to pay for their purchases before any action can be taken and the amount transferred to your Paypal account will certainly have cleared long before then.

Banks and Paypal don't operate on weekends

Most likely be in your paypal account tomorrow (Mon).

Unless an item is immediate payment required and you don't have a back up card on file then there is no need to keep your Paypal account in credit, if there are not enough funds they will just take it from your bank account as an echeque which is almost as quick as adding funds.

27 th @ 5.30am and still not showing up. Didnt bid on the item but thats ok as another similar listing came up from another seller and its got 3 days before bidding ends so hopefully my bank transfer clears to my paypal before ending.

I don't know which bank you are with, but most banks do their transaction runs overnight.

With St George bank if I make a transfer before 5.30pm the money leaves my account that night.  It is usually credited to the other account by the next morning although sometimes it takes an extra day.

Transfers to paypal always used to take 2 nights although It was a while ago....it may be longer now.

If a transfer is done on Friday it usually shows on Saturday morning.....if it has not shown overnight it is unlikely to show until Tuesday morning as there are no transaction runs on Saturday or Sunday nights so it will not happen till Monday night.

If your transaction involves a Buiding Society account you need to allow at least 1 or 2 days more.

Money is now credited to my paypal as of 28th april.

Im with anz which took awhile compared to your bank lyndal1838 but aventually got there.
