does clicking transfer instead of pay pal make it, that pay pal is going to transfer from my bank

I bidded item and went to make payment, it came up with paypal and directly under that it came up with transfer. I clicked on transfer and got a order detail stating, you have already completed checkout for this order. Then in payment details it states - you chose to transfer AU $325.00 from your financial institution.

dont know if payment has been made or i have to contact seller to get his bank details to manually transfer the funds. I don't have funds in my pay pal account for it to come out and don't want to end up double paying. So what do i do?

I am a bit confused by your question. I would say if you have not ticked paypal then it is assuming you are going to transfer the funds from your account to the seller. You should see the sellers bank account details.I would not pay that amount by direct deposit. That is a very risky move. You are best paying by credit card through paypal as you have buyer protection should something go wrong.

You can login to your PayPal account to confirm whether any payment has been made.

If you have selected to pay by bank transfer in checkout then no payment will be sent by PayPal as you need to do the bank transfer yourself. If the seller's bank details are not showing in checkout then email and ask them for their BSB and account number.

If you do want to pay by PayPal and your bank account is linked to PayPal you can ask the seller for an invoice to reset the checkout and then pay by eCheque.
