eBay Voucher expires before end of expiration date

Hi all, want to know where i stand with this one 

 I was issued a $30 ebay voucher for staying on with my ebay plus membership rather than cancelling (I was about to cancel and got offered the voucher to stay on) .. bonus I will take the voucher

 This voucher has an expiration date of 05/04/22 so i just went to use it and its already expired! surely not? 

 So I called ebay customer support and explained to the lady I figured i would have until the end of the date to use it, lady basically said bad luck buddy next time use it sooner ? 

 After quite a bit of back and forth the lady ended up saying she will call me back with an outcome but I feel she just wanted to get me off the phone! 

 Not sure what to think surely this is not fair

Does it indicate an exact time? Usually vouchers are valid until midnight, but not always.

You could try going back to eBay help in the link below, then scroll to the bottom and use the "chat with us" option. Then as soon as you are able ask to speak to a supervisor.

Thanks Papermoon Lady, it does not let me see the conditions now that its "expired" so not too sure, I didn't think for the life of me it might expire before midnight I mean what a take 

 Thanks Padi, not wanting to give up I just called ebay back and got a much nicer young fellow on the phone this time who has promised to call me back tomorrow with an outcome 

Maybe i should open the chat anyway and keep at it

Thanks again Padi, wish i used the chat screen to begin with unlike the rude lady i got the first time i called! the chat screen person sorted it out without any questions only took about 2 minutes and new voucher was issued

 Man that first lady was rude she needs to get a job she likes!

How long did it take for you to receive the voucher? I'm yet to receive it even though my subscription has renewed and the money has been taken.
