Why is eBay protecting unscrupulous sellers - by removing their Negative feedback
Why has my negative feedback on a seller (who lies) been removed?
I also have screen shots of other negative feedback for this seller that has been removed by eBay over the last few months.
Why is eBay protecting this unscrupulous seller?
Why isn't eBay protecting its buyers?
Is this kind of behaviour endorsed by eBay - if so I'll be advertising it to all my followers on twitter facebook & linked in!
IMO this is reflecting very badly on eBay.
Seller is: think-out
I wouldn't have bought (or attempted to buy) from this seller if I'd been able to read their buyer's genuine feedback!
I got my money refunded - but other suckers will be caught due to eBay's policy of protecting sellers and not buyers.
Not a happy eBay buyer!

I agree with you.
I wasn't sure how 'current' the negs were but I see that seller is on a FB score of 1558 at the moment & they are labelled as a top seller, with 90 positives this month. So he's a constant, steady seller but not on a massive scale. Your screenshots show this seller when he had FB of 1521, 1544 & 1551, so I would imagine those screenshots were all taken within the last 6 months.
I suspect the screenshots will be taken down soon as they identify the seller.
I realise FB can get removed if it mentions ebay disputes or is abusive etc and I can see one FB that may qualify for removal on those grounds.(mentions ebay dispute)
But in the first photo, I can see the first neg said "Did not get item, no communication to my emails".
The only reason I think that should ever be removed is if the seller has proof of delivery. otherwise it is onjective, factual feedback in my book.
Someone else wrote " Never got the item, tried to work it out several times to no avail, terrible.'
Again, unless the seller had proof of delivery, that feedback should stand also.
What interests me is those 3 negs in the first screenshot are all FB that seller had received within that month. So these aren't negs strung out over a long period of time.
It's a mystery to me why this seller is having so many negs removed. A lot of neutrals seem to remain. Is this just one unlucky seller with a lot of buyers picking on him? I don't think so. One or two unjust negs I think is very possible, but the amount you have shown seems more than just coincidence and there may be some problems.

Hi there,
Thanks for your input!
The last Image I posted should contain my feedback.
Weeks ago, After querying the seller regarding the shipping number/Couriers Please, I was asked to supply my mobile number for them to contact me (which I immediately sent them). All I received back was a canned email message.
After the item failed to arrived & I requested a refund - within 5 x minutes the phone rang - it was think-out - when I refused their overtures the guy called me a jerk!. That was probably his most honest statement!
This seller is recommended by eBay as a "Top Rated Seller" with a 100% guaranteed feedback - AND that is patently untrue!
I have recent screen shots which prove it!
eBay is colluding with them and supplying false/misleading feedback information on their "top rated" seller's reliability!
I have the email trail + screen pics of before & after "Feedback" it's easy to see the the Negatives are removed!
Ah - just found eBay on twitter - I may give them a bit of a tweet!

A lot of the seller's neutrals sound like they should've been negs. And a lot of
positives have neg statements.
Ebay also have a Facebook page. Show them your screenshots and ask
them what's the go?
Some people have reported that they have a better outcome on Facebook.
I'd be interested to hear what they have to say.

Hi,
Thanks for your points - some of which I believe are important.
It also appears as though the images have been removed. Probably due to the reasons you mention!
Here is a screen shot of the file list with the dates the screen snips were taken (additionally some of the messages/emails that went between the seller & myself). All are recent!
IMO eBay feedback is broken or very badly compromised!
When ever is see a seller with that eBay rating as "Top-rated seller" - I'll be thinking twice - because it just isn't true (in this case).
cheers
Here are some captures that don't identify the seller (I'll save that for twitter & facebook).
