why has ebay made the postage so unreasonable and inconsistant from the USA. It would appear that the seller has not
controll over this as it is you service centre that sets the rates. I recently purchased three of the same items and was charged
all different rates being $100 between the highest and lowest.

Yes, too true, but I am loving Fargo on SBS.

"It would be cheaper for sellers to just use the USPS themselves."
US sellers are being well and truly conned, bump. In fact, it costs them nothing to forward their items to Pitney Bowes for resending as they pick up the tab, but then recoup their outlay 10 times over (or more) by charging the end customer an exorbitantly overpriced amount for purported "repackaging" and shipping.
Ain't free enterprise in the US a wonderful thing? 😞

The other annoying thing with buying from the US is they don't send the free bagels that they offer with the purchase.

Sure they do!
It's just that the carrier pigeons eat them on the long flight over here.

Any time I buy from the US it is straight USPS, no frills. No worries, items as described in usually a week.
But that is not through eBay and definitely not through PB.

Yes they did all come from the same place and were all the same product and packaged the same

If you bought 3 items the same from the same seller at the same time why did you not query why the postage was different?
