hi,i have returned item,sent emails,not responding,i need my refund

i purchased tool boxes and trolleys, when received item i couldnt believe that there was damage and the fact that it does not function properly.the seller advised me that it is for a mechanical work shop and would handle any tools.when this item was unpacked and assembled it was embarrasing but it was the only thing we bought my husband for his 40th birthday,so we had to give him this gift with embarrassment and sadness from our children knowing that their dads presant that we looked forward to seeing his face was a bg disappointment.i have returned the items back but since then there has not been any contact from the seller,the only contact that i had was them giving directions to where and how the item can be returned.i have sent them emails through ebay explaining everything that has happened and everything to them.till today we have not given my husband a his present .i bought through ebay with confidence and trust but instead all i have bought is heart ache and sadness that we could not have had a proper celebration and to top it off i had to explain to my 3 children why i was crying, sad and furious on their dads birthday.

When did you buy? How did you pay? How did you return them?

 

If Paypal and trackable post, you may be able to open a claim for not as described.

 

If not, then Paypal (who provide the protection on eBay Australia) won' be able to do anything. You could report the seller to the online fraud police, or Fair Trading if they are a business.
