first of all, make sure the seller combines postage - is it mentioned in the listing, or can you email him and ask?
If you are satisifed that he combines postage to save you money, you buy the items, but do not pay yet, and then send him a request for a combined invoice.

USA sellers who offer Global Shippng Program do not combine and do not offer any discounts.
some other sellers do you need to Ask Seller a Question about combined AND discounts on postage

Also, you apparently pay for multiple items using a tablet or a phone. You need to use a computer.

If you do have to pay using a phone or tablet, use the link at the bottom of the app page "classic site", this operates the same way as the website - it is a little fiddly, but does allow you to make combined payments. The app hasn't worked for combined postage from the start.
Otherwise what everyone else has said. Good luck and have fun multi buying

'can't' is a useful word. It might pay me to use it when appropriate.
Thanks for covering for me.

I have read that newer versions of the eBay app can do combined postage.
I tried to test it but because I have an old original iPad I couldn't even download the updated app.
