how to repay seller after failed paypal payment

hi guys i bought something on ebay with an echeck which failed due to no funds, thought it would work as i was expecting money to be in my account soon. well it failed and i told the seller they said its fine and they can cancel it if  i want so i can repurchase it but i also have a $150 discount saving on the item so if they cancel it ill lose that. Is there way i can pay again on the same purchase like they can send me a invoice or something i dunno. Also i was told echecks can make other attempt at taking the money out of my bank account well the money is there now but hasnt been taken out and my paypal account doesnt say it tried to withdraw again that was on 26th june when the 1st one failed

Ask the seller not to cancel the transaction until you can contact paypal.

Ring paypal and find out if they are going to try to collect on the echeque again.

If they are not going to try again, ask the seller to resend the invoice....this should allow you to pay again.
