increase in non payers

Yes i have noticed that.  The latest one has just joined (??) as a member and tells me it is Xmas so I have to wait.
"everyone blows their money..".  Wonder if she does not pay her mortgage or petrol?? Could see it coming you know they don't respond to the messages etc.  I am raising a Case every time now. I am fed up you cannot leave feedback and while I exclude non payers in my preferences it is only for the last 6 months from memory.  Never mind I have many others who have business manners!

Re: increase in non payers

Not sure what the question is, given you are answering your own title. Almost sure you're having a vent. Which I have never understood.

If it's an increase in non-payers then, yes, I have noticed that. I have had 2 in the last 2 months, but only 10 in the last 18 months. Statistically, and I am a Maths freak, that is a 100% increase. But I also understand statistical anomaly - a spike now will generally average out. At one every 2 months. Given there are procedures in place to deal with NPBs I will go with the flow.

Try changing your settings to 12 months. Mine are 6 months and I'm happy with that.

Well, I find it astonishing. Some people have more front than Myer.

A newbie who gets on and bids then tells others they will have to wait!

You have to ask yourself why the person bid if they have no money to pay.

Just put a non payer dispute in and with luck, they will be kicked off ebay eventually.

Re: increase in non payers

They probably aren't a newbie, they probably have more than one unpaid item strike so have started another id.

I couldn't care less what, if any, excuse they give, I don't enter into any correspondence other than sending a reminder on day 3. Unless I receive a firm commmitment to pay within a couple of days I open the dispute.

I am still waiting to see this increase in non payers, not happening for me up to now.
