items advertised as being in Australia

I ordered two separate items at the beginning of May, but they are going to take six weeks to get to me. These items were supposed to be based in Australia, but I don't believe that it could take six weeks to deliver items anywhere in Australia from within Australia

Check the seller's feedback to see where they are registered, chances are that that is where the item is coming from with such a large delivery time.

If your ordered the items in May, that would be last year. You are well out of time for any redress.

Did you check where the seller was registered? Did you check their feedback to determine how reliable they are (the same page as where they are registered)?

Do you think that due diligence should be done after you've bought something?

If so, are they from the most recent person to leave you feedback (who is no longer registered? and who is in China?
