new payment system?

won an item today and pressed the 'pay now' button.

no shift to the various pages, before going to PP sign in.

no log into PP.

just clicked on make payment button and went to the thanks for your payment page.

is this new, so used to going through several pages before loging into PP to make payment befor being returned to ebay.

Would any of this be related to the lets make all listings mobile phone friendly thing?
But i dont think that comes in for a while yet

I can't wait for them to turn the entire website into a touch/gesture interface that requires pinching and flicking the screen. Good luck doing that with a single mouse!

I think eBay's web designers must have been on the same drugs as the people who did Windows 8.

ok, so today i win an auction and get the old pay now pages, review your purchase then log into PP to pay.

must be like a wheel of fortune.

paying on ebay is like a box of chocolates, you never know what your going to get.

A mate of mine's wife makes her own Turkish Delight Stalks and it's yummy on the tummy..............just sayin'

Oh, and my payments are still going through the new way, it's quicker but I'm not sure I like it at all.

I've implemented a convoluted workaround now, though.

I've kept an item in my cart from a seller who I know offers a variety of payment methods, so when I go to the cart, I click to proceed to checkout on all items in there. Then, when I get to the mobile version of the checkout, I click on 'See more payment options' which takes me to the normal checkout, and then I click on 'Pay only this seller' for the item I actually want to buy.

but you just need to keep doing the ebay waltz

tap your heals together and say theres no place like ebay 3 times and you will be magically transported to a better place where you will experience the 'ebay experience'
