has ebay stopped requireing paypal as an option in payments?
i just bought an item from a aussie seller and when i went to pay there was only bank transfer or credit card options.
its doesnt bother me as i'm ok paying bank deposit but thought paypal was not negotiable.

As far as I know David, a seller doesn't have to offer Paypal if they have a merchant banking facility, which that seller does have.
The only requirement is that the seller must have a "safe payment option" (ie credit card)
Here's the link.

If the seller has their own Merchant Facility they do not have to offer paypal
As your seller is offering credit card payment they obviously have their own Merchant Facility.
Please use it in preference to bank deposit as it gives you buyer protection.
