I have 2 ebay accounts/user names.only one has paypal set up but I have a e bay voucher for the other account ...
if I use the voucher code for that account can I just pay once off with a credit card or would I have to go through all the drama of linking my paypal account again?

If it is an ebay voucher, not a Paypal one, then it should not matter if your Paypal account isn't linked to that account. I have bought things on Au ebay and paid using my UK Paypal account which has no connection to ebay au and vice versa.

Most vouchers that I have received are conditional on having a paypal account linked to the account that has received the voucher.
It only works when you are going through checkout and paying with paypal.

The usual condition I get is that payment via a PayPal account is required, and that both the eBay and PP accounts are registered under the same email address. I don't know if they have to be linked, but it would probably cut down on errors and/or enable the code to be applied before logging in to PayPal (either way you definitely would have to log in to the PP account to pay).

Most of the later vouchers have had the same email address restriction for me too Digi but in the early days I was able to use a voucher sent to my other account which has a different email address but is linked to the same paypal address.
I have not had any offers to that account since the same email address stipulation has been appearing.
I may be paranoid but I have the feeling they send out these vouchers with every restriction they can think of to prevent us using them.
These days I only seem to be able to use the promotions that are open to everyone.....no personal vouchers have appeared for a very long time.
