peppy code doesn't apply

I am tring to use the PEPPY code for black friday discount on a store that is promoting this coupon even on the product picture, but the coupon doesn't work on my checkout (it's says it's not valid)

Check T&C's for minimum spend and items in some categories may not qualify.

As my only other thought off the top of my head is it being Freaky Friday (eBay maintenance day) where glitches abound

I'll try tomorrow then. The seller told me I am the second complaining abot that problem but there is nothing he can do about it.
