I amended delivery address prior to purchasing an item however item was sent to incorrect address that now is 165 kilometers away from me as we speak and Ebay claims it was a system error and that I was to use Internet Explorer rather than Google Chrome , what total bull**bleep** is this and what is Ebays game or agender here ? I have now sort legal advise and now listing on Facebook and Scambook so others will listen and learn from Ebays failure.

It's probably simply the call centre staff that don't know.
Did you change the address in PayPal if you paid by PayPal?
All sellers are instructed to only send to address in PayPal, not ebay.
Otherwise they are not covered.
So if it's from your not changing in PayPal upon checkout, you have just shot down an innocent.
And if the seller has used ebay addy, then they should have used addy from PayPal.
Nothing to do with ebay if it's one of the above.

I doubt if it is anything to do with ebay. Did you check that the correct delivery address was showing in checkout when you went to pay? That is the only address that would be given to the seller after checkout was completed and the only address that would show in Paypal. If the correct address was showing after you went through checkout it is most probably the seller's fault, they have copied the address from View Order details before you completed checkout, if the correct address was not showing and you completed checkout then it is 100% your fault.
