Hi - has anyone, sellers or buyers had problems with postage lately? Items either seem to be taking upto and over 4 weeks to come from overseas. i had one item take 16 days from Victoria to WA.
i have also had several items not arrive at all .
Postage seems to be taking a long time and express does not seem to mean express The items i buy are from reputable sellers some with the highest ratings. i received a refund for one item but i am concerned that it seems there is an increase in waiting time and items not arriving . i have been buying a lo g time and never had this issue before.

yes, Australia post do seem to be umm ahhh well
nuff said 'bout that.
It is not unusual for OS packages to take 3 or 4 weeks to arrive, so that's nothing to be concerned about,
Remember that express is the rate at which the postal service apparently works once they receive the item. They cannot control how long it takes the seller to get the item to them. Experess is a method of postage, it doesn't necessarily dictate the speed at which it gets to you after purchase.
Just remember to always pay with a safe poayment method and remember that you have 45 days in which to raise a dispute with PayPal and 60 days in which to leave your feedback (if you choose to leave it).
Remember those 3 things and all will be fine most of the time - maybe think about insurance and SOD if you are really concerned. in case you need to claim from Aus Post and not PayPal - i'e if the seller can prove lodgement and tracking, PayPal will find in their favour, and then the seller will have to pursue Aus Post for the lost item and relevant compensation, which atm is a discressionary $50 if you get cross with them and stomp your feet a little bit you need to pay if you want more cover.
Oh, and if you want something in a hurry, buy it from a B&M store.

Vicci to Qld is taking about 4 days for me atm, how long for you Tara?
Sent a Bx4 box the other week to vicci, got there in 2 - 3 days. (I posted at 4pm Monday, I had FB by 10am Wednesday)
Sydney to Qld seems to be taking about 4 days atm, but maybe that's just the processing time of the actual seller, bought a few DVD's from the large sellers recently and I suspect they may not send when they mark they have, but rather when they process the order.
between WA and Qld has always been 6 days or more.

yeh same here. I am in Melbourne and I have been using ebay for years with no problems at all. Everything turned up it didn't matter if it had tracking or no tracking.
But the last month things are the same as you very late or not at all.

I have never had so many " I haven't received my items" in all my time on ebay as I have in the last month.
One letter from NSW to NSW took 12 days, that is appalling service from Australia post.
Another letter to NSW is 6 days and counting.
