While searching for items on eBay, I always search within Australia first to see if the item is affordable and avaliable in Aus first before I purchase from China or overseas. I went to filter within Australia and noticed the filter option is missing. Anybody else notice this? Why would they remove it? It's now a pain in the neck to look through a bunch of "From Hong Kong" listings to try and find an Australian seller. For the love of god, bring this filter back!

The answer to this question was given by the OP - they had accidentally logged in to the US site. It would seem it wasn't actually an issue all that time ago.

You can search for " Australia only " by using the icons on the LH side of the searched item page or by clicking the little black " advanced " word next to the blue search icon at the top RH side of most pages. The advanced search is a very handy tool as it gives a number of search options.
Some OS sellers do misrepresent their location though and claim to be in Australia when they are international ( China ) sellers. Click on their name or feedback to get a better idea of where they are located.
