I have just won a dress and it is obvious that the seller didnt get the price she wanted for it. She sent me a message saying the dog chewed it up. When I immediately replied back and asked for a photo of the damage she said she threw it out. What options do I now have as far as negative feedback goes and I will be reporting her to ebay.
Cheers

Really? You are not aware that eBay stopped sellers leaving negative feedback for buyers about 5 years ago? I can only assume that the rest of what you have posted is equally out of touch with reality.

I don't understand the purpose of your post. This issue is not about leaving negative feedback for buyers - it's about leaving feedback about one particular seller. (And no, I wasn't aware that eBay stopped sellers leaving negative feedback for buyers. Are you able to elaborate as to why they did this?)

Hi milly and everyone else on this thread,
My daughter was recently given a puppy by her grandparents for her birthday to my surprise because I've never had a pet before much less a dog. I had a few items that I'd posted a few days before that but had neglected to update my selling templates to "smoke free home" as I'm a mother and things get away from me sometimes because I use my phone a lot to post things when I can't open my laptop because of the toddlers, but that has been corrected with the new things I've posted and there were a few items I couldn't revise since they'd been bid on and I haven't gotten around to a laptop yet.
Anyway, to make a long story short the puppy soiled and tore a few of the items in the laundry where I was keeping some things. And in my hurry to clean this up while there were running toddlers around, I threw away most of the things that were damaged - not thinking about eBay or to take a photo for my buyers. There were a couple of other buyers in the set of auctions that expired at the same time as yours that didn't get their items either. I apologised and messaged all of you before you paid to avoid as much disappointment and time wasting as much as possible. The puppy isn't staying with us anymore, he's with a friend in Bondi where he can run around freely in their yard.
I've been trying to clear space in our small apartment and make extra money because I'm a full time mother which is why I have my items up for sale. Some items get relisted when the auction ends and nobody has bid. The dress was originally listed at $120 because it is worth more than that, but after some time I put it down to $0.99 because I just wanted get rid of it an clear space, if it was sitting there and waiting to be worn. I also sold a few other things in that set that sold for as little as $7 and still sent them so whether or not I'm happy with the final price is a non-issue. I posted these things up because I want to sell them, even if it's for as little as a dollar.
.
At the end of the day, there is not much I can do if you're decide to leave negative feedback and I know you've reported me already. That is fine and I can accept that, but I did my best to help the situation, not sure what more I can do except explain myself and allow you to be the judge.
Hope you enjoy the rest of the weekend.
Take care x.

As for all of you who are baffled by the Aztec dresses, I bought A LOT of them for a function and the ones I'm selling are the ones that we didn't end up using. (Sorry - I didn't realise there were 3 pages to this thread! I was only on the first one.)
You bought a lot of them, so do you still have any (new or used) ? Just curious

Not just negative feedback but yet another fvf you will not get refunded, why not just list items for the price you want? Perhaps try BIN with Best Offer, anything but continuing wth what you are doing now.

Just getting back to the Aztec dress-um er why would you buy 2 from another seller at $84.99 each (free postage) back in July then start the bidding at $10,sell for $71 plus $13.85 postage AND copy the other sellers photo's ???
Here is the chewed dress sellers listing
Aztec Sequin Maxi Stunning Formal Chiffon Ball Gown Long Dress BNWT Medium S8-10"
When in fact that is not the dress in question at all, as the dress happens to be a one off for this seller.
Is it the same ignorance that lead us all to believe and advise Milly to leave the negative feedback and if it is then it must be the same information that lead us to believe that seller sent rude messages to Milly, as Milly claimed.
Based on her reply the seller does not seem rude at all, but who knows, she could be the rudest person on this earth, just let your imagination conjure / invent the story.
If she has written any rude messages she can be reported to Ebay. She would have been issued a warning on those grounds alone!
Somehow I don't think there was any rude messages at all, merely a Milly's interpretation of what is rude.
Also for all you sellers out there: If for whatever reason you receive a negative feedback, whether you are telling the truth or not, is completely irrelevant.
And Davewill please learn how to crawl before you walk as you clearly can not read!

OMG this thread is one of the "funniest" I have read in ages .....ROFL...
if I personally listed an item as being from pet free home and then had the "cheek" to message a buyer that had won the item at auction that a dog had destroyed the dress I would expect that my credibility as a seller would be SHOT, KAPUT, GONE .....
I would think to myself MIA CULPA, slap myself several times in the head very hard, repeating to myself what an idiota I am, I would make no excuses, I would tell no puppy tales, I would just say I am soooooo sorry, and that I was suitably mortified and regretful.
I would expect, and deserve, no less than a negative.

@briaftrisam
I have no issue with you or anyone else quoting me,however, when you deliberately add together 2 totally different posts of mine re 2 totally different dresses in order to substantiate unwarranted attacks by yourself, you tend to make your monologue somewhat unconvincing shall we say.
The feedback left by the OP is concise & to the point.

thecatspjs, and you are absolutelly, 1000000000000000000000000000000000% sure that the seller was untruthuthful in her explanation, that it was not even remotely possible that's excatly how it may have happened - how?
The only thing that is so totally, positivelly true is the one we see with our own eyes, and are present while it's happening.
And no, seller doesn't desrve a neg for many reasons, biggest problem being that Milly can't be even remotely sure that the seller is a shonk.
And seller - you are also so right, getting a neg is nothing compared to other matters in life - like children, health, happiness, World Peace, Syria, starving nations, natural disasters, deliberatelly lit bushfires, getting that covetted diamond ring the size of NSW... those sort of things.
