refund for busting a liar

pre-ordered an L.P of a guy in Queensland on 14/8/12, the L.P was to be released on 17/8/12. i asked the guy whether he had the record in stock or was  gettin them from the US and on-shipping to me. just so i had an idea of my waiting time. the reply i got was that it will be shipped on 17/8/12 and the posted button was hit accordingly by this guy. well on 27/8/12 ive still got no L.P 11 days from QLD to Melb???. so i email the guy and tell him that i believe that he misled me on the shipping. he must have been goin to on-ship which i had asked. i get a reply back telling me that i wrong and to check my emails because id been given a refund on the day i supposedly ordered. then i get another email right away saying that im sorry we couldnt get the L.P from our suppliers and heres a refund  wtf ?? and now i see that he is still selling the records ( hasnt ended listing)  i asked a simple question 2 weeks ago and got lied to and now feel im bein lied to again (hoping im not) but sure feels like it. what a lousy seller, and worst part is they got ALOT of good feedback and couldnt give a crap about peein off 1 person. anyways rightly or wrongly i gave neg feedback for being lied too initially and at the end of it... please excuse my venting and have a great day people :)......

OP I'm just hoping that the seller doesn't read the boards.


I really doubt that the feedback will remain .It was kind of abusive and also made accusations of the seller being dishonest.OP I would just stuck to the facts.


 


Personally ,the fact that Australia Post seems to have been handed the responsibility for some of the negs may kind of put me off .

Here is the thingโ€ฆ. Everyone on this board has told a porky to cover their behind.  The person who hasnโ€™t needs either nailing to a tree for being perfect and is in so much denial they prolly still think the earth is flat.


 


When running a business, sometimes things are said to give more time for things to arrive.  Now I donโ€™t want to condone what the seller did, however itโ€™s understandable, especially if they had every reason to trust their suppliers and felt they needed to buy a little more time.


 


I think itโ€™s a little self-righteous as well as intolerant hypocritical to react and give feedback like the one the OP did.  Goodness the seller gave a refund and apologised and from what I can see done everything to rectify their misteach.


 


Its people who react this badly, when something goes wrong, are the ones we see road raging and abusing any and every one who doesnโ€™t conform to their idea of the perfect world. 


 


However you look at it, two wrongs donโ€™t make a rightโ€ฆ Regardless of how entertaining their actions may seem to be from the outside

Foxy,If you are correct re the dropshipping , that should be clearly stated in the listings as should pre-orders otherwise sellers should have what they list for sale shouldn't they ?

From the listings ie at times they sell what they don't actually have & this is also reflected in some of the negs.


 


The Australia Post neg stuff followups by seller is just plain odd IMO

Oh & JMO but a seller of that high a volume of sales is hardly likely to be crying into their beer over a neg-more likely toasting others with glasses of champagne :^O
