I have returned an item which has been delivered to them but ebays what ever it is it hasnt how do you actually contact eBay with out going around and around on the stupid message thing

eBay help is the only option to start with, and go from there
There is no call center and emails are bot automated
Did you follow the correct process for the return?
Did you upload the tracking to eBay?
Did you open a dispute?
eBay's 'what ever' is at times about a day behind , how long has it been ?

Did you insert the tracking number in the dispute? (Mind you, if you used the returns postage label provided electronically by the seller or eBay, the tracking number would be automatically included in dispute, as far as I am aware.)
