I doubt very much that 'not suitable on my hair' is a legit reason for a refund
UNLESS the actual product was not as described (if you were sent something other than what you bought
Otherwise it is a change of mind
Did you actually open an eBay dispute
and
Why have you waited so long?

To add, the seller is registered in China and their feedback is beyond terrible
I am not surprised they did not refund

You've been played. There is no refund coming.
The seller could have given you a refund immediately if they had wanted to. They can see you only have 15 feedback so they probably think you may be relatively new to ebay and that you may not know how the system works.
I suspect their reply to you was just to fob you off, so that you would sit there and wait... and wait...
Which you did.
When something goes wrong with a purchase, you only have 30 days from the expected arrival of the item in which to open an ebay claim either for item not received at all or for faulty item.
But the reason you have given here for wanting a refund does not scream 'faulty product' or 'product not as described'.
Just because you don't like an item when it arrives, it doesn't mean you are entitled to a refund.
It has to be significantly different to what was described in the ad for it to qualify for a refund.

Yes, that is what I read it as too, did not like it
Rather than they ordered a product that was suppose to be 'suitable' for their hair as per item description, but instead was sent, say shampoo to combat brassiness in blonde hair
Sellers are not obligated to give change of mind refunds at all
And, IF it was indeed that dodgy as seller in China
Then no wonder

I think that is the problem with people sometimes in that they are not specific enough.
'Not suitable for my hair' might just mean they didn't like how the product worked on their hair.
If there was something wrong with the product-if they were sent the wrong product, then they need to spell it out.
It makes all the difference as to whether or not they are entitled to a refund, although if they have let more than 30 days pass, they have probably missed that chance anyway.

The OP's left feedback with a picture.
I think it's a Black Hair Dye Shampoo
It's in the seller's sold listings.

I would never NEVER buy hair dye from a random Chinese seller on eBay. Shades of carcinogenic baldness!

From what i can make out, the ad says it is natural ingredients, plant extracts. No ammonia and advertised as temporary hair colour. It talks about obtaining a beautiful shine.
Pulkit, I have bad news for you. If you wish to colour some grey hair, that is a hard job. You're going to need a proper dye, one that is specially formulated to cover greys.
The temporary, natural ones like this might add a slight tinge of colour or shine but that is about all.

And plenty of warnings here about the product
