It's 2018 and I still can't exclude listings with local pickup, why can't I search for items without seeing 18 billion listings for local pickup, I am sick of it, I don't have a car, I don't mind paying postage, why can't we get a damn refinement for local pick up, it's been like this for 10 years, no one likes it, you can refine literally every other search term but you can't exclude local pick up, what is wrong with the ebay devs that they can't add this, if it's an option for sellers to choose to have local pick up then it should be no issue to allow buyers to choose to exclude items with local pick up.

I was like tippy & wondering what on earth a fing was. You'd be better off leaving acronyms & abrreviated words out. Write the full version or risk confusing half the people trying to read it. In this case, leave out as it makes no difference to the meaning of your message.
Yes, being able to tick to exclude pick up items would probably be a sensible search refinement. Not sure why ebay hasn't done it.
I just had a quick look at a search listing & your point works in reverse. I can't see anywhere to choose 'pick up only' items either, which some other customers might definitely like to use.
I'm surprised you find your searches swamped with pick up only items. I guess it depends on what you're looking for. People selling very heavy items from home will probably almost always have pick up, whereas shop type sellers with new products will usually offer delivery. Maybe, for the moment, if you're searching for a heavy item, it might help to search for new only?
