i have been trying to make the payment for a recent purchase. The vendor had paypal listed but didn't have an account.
I then chose the option to pay as a bank transfer which has told me is complete but the vendor does not have the payment and it is not showing in my bank account.
How do i reset the payment options?

If it's for the Dell Inspirion N5010, the Seller's completed listings all look like FRAUDULENT listings and if you haven't already paid,
DO NOT PAY

Talk to eBay, the seller has to have a safe payment method, so if they have stated PayPal, and they don't have an account - if they are not offering something else and have just ticked the wrong box) then they are doing a shifty.
If you have transfered the money via bank deposit, ring your bank and see if they'll stop it.
yikes, you may have just donated this seller some cash.
Best of luck with it
But you're saying you paid by bank deposit, but your bank account isn't showing the transaction???? Where is it showing as "complete"? On eBay, if you paid by bank deposit, to show complete, you have to mark as payment sent.

And then you actually have to tranfer the money onto the seller's account, ebay doesn't do this for you; but I wouldn't advise transferring any money via bank transfer

i didn't pay.
i told them ebay would not protect my purchase if we continued and asked them to use their paymate account they said they had used before instead.
They then tried to guilt trip me by saying they were moving to perth at the end of the week and wanted to get it sorted.
I said as soon as ebay verified their change of address we could talk again
The sudden lack of contact was not a surprise.
Thanks for all the advice people
