I am stumped to what's going on here, first of all ebay adds in the usa reading, may not ship to Australia, next actually buying stuff there in the usa and having postal or should i say usps refusing to ship on both accounts, and not giving tangable reasons to the shipers on both accounts to why this is going on, now i have spent money and iam in limbo land without a paddle, i dont not want my money back i want my shipment shipped so now what do i do ????

I assume that some time has already passed since you payed for this item. It is very important that you DO NOT let 40 - 45 days pass before you take any action, as after 45 days, you will have absolutely no recourse through PayPal to recover your money if for some reason the seller doesn't refund you voluntarily.
The item may not sell again in a suitable time frame. Then how is the seller going to refund you, even if he is genuine?

I have no idea what has happened to you, it may be a mess up, it may be the seller is trying to delay you past the 45 days, it may be he spent the money and now can't afford to ship it to you and is trying to buy some time. You may know some of these answers, but I don't, and I think they are largely irrelevant at this point anyway. did he give you a tracking number and were you able to track it at any time?
What you need to do is to make sure that you protect yourself. No matter how nice this seller is. (unless you can afford to lose the money, but it sounds like a lot.)
So, without knowing any other details, it is my suggestion that you work out when 40 - 45 days from payment was, and if you have not received your refund by then, to open an Item Not
DescribedRECEIVED case with PayPal and escalate it to a claim as soon as you can.
DO NOT LET THE SELLER NUDGE YOU ALONG PAST THE 45 DAYS!
It doesn't matter how great the story is, I am pretty certain that PayPal will stand firm on that deadline, and after that, unless you can get a chargeback through the bank, you have buckleys of ever seeing that money again.

not being straight up is not assisting anyone and not posting to a country may be your right but it does piss off buyers who are sick of little access to items they want because everyone seems to jump on the ole lazy bandwagon and black banning a country for no good reason
If only ebay and postal services could unite on something, we the buyers could do this so much more simply, after this experience iam sworn of large import items from the usa, its a two way street, and right now buyers are third world customers in the eyes of everyone............
I do agree that the shippers are in experiencd, i have been shipping for over 12 years now i have even imported cars with less hassle then this, but the feeling i got from one of them is he just used the net to book it in, then took the item down there and walked away, well of course there is gonna be dramas, i told him go down to the post office nothing more nothing less, as for the other guy he is too in experienced but in the begining tried to even pay for some of the shipment himself ,but i guess his box size was different from how it was written up, again no shipment... i have even tried having a usa address but it seems they want big money to shp too, so i give up after this mess it ends no more bulk shipping from the usa...........
