where has the buy button gone

Don'tpanic yet, I think eBay are fixing things again doing maintenance. The community button was also missing earlier, but it's back now.

I think it was done on purpose, but I have no idea why.

An eBay rep responded to a different thread about the community link, (post http://community.ebay.com.au/t5/New-Community-Experience/Link-to-community-pages/m-p/709509#M96... )

and stated "There was a change to the header on eBay.com.au this week with the ‘Buy’ link being removed."

I think they're trying to make the various international sites the same as ebay.com. Fair enough, but sometimes changes are not for the best. It's nuts, really... I mean there's the "Sell" button, so why not leave the "Buy" button alone? It's the quickest way to access the various categories, without needing to dig through the "Shop by Category" drop-down. The most frequently used top-level menu options should be left alone. There's no reason to remove the buy button. Why not move the sell button, why not hide the "Community" button under "Customer Support", if that's their logic? Mike.

LOL I didn't even realise there was a buy button ...and I adore buying !

I sort of knew it was there, but didn't realize that I was supposed to press it when I logged out. 

When you don't say "good buy" by hitting that button, eBay don't know you've gone and the clock that announces how many minutes you've been online keeps ticking over.

It was a limited edition and they have all been sold, anyone who has one hang on to it, it may be worth money in 100 years time
