I went to purchase and it said 'The seller isn't accepting bids or offers from you.' I have never seen this before - what does it mean? I am not making any offer but paying full price. I am stumped by this one! Let me know if you know the answer please.,
Cheers
Judith

You really need to keep up.
The issue was resolved amicably, and your conspiracy theories are unfounded.

If you are blocked by a seller in Australia (I assume, since you are posting on the Aussie forum for eBay Australia), maybe it is because that seller does not post overseas

Maybe seller's have seen your feedback left for others and felt you were too high a risk, so blocked you.

To be fair, OP seems to mainly only leave feedback when they have issues. Many more received than left.

I agree, but it doesn't make them look real good in the eyes of a seller.

Some of the feedback left isn't crash hot, I agree.
But I had a quick look at the FB scores of the sellers that gforrest has recently bought from, and most seem to be 'big' sellers, with scores in the tens of thousands, in one case over a million, so they are probably fair sized companies rather than small businesses. They probably aren't checking out the feedback their customers have left previously. I'd guess they would only block after they had trouble with a customer.
I am wondering if sandy pebbles may have hit on the reason, there must be lots of sellers who aren't prepared to sell to overseas customers at the moment.

How is it the same thing as the person who posted this over two years ago?
You are on the forum for eBay Australia and you are registered in the US
You say you ordered already (where the person here had been blocked from buying)
Why can't you contact the seller?
There is an issue/glitch with some sellers being able to get their eBay messages (if that is how you tried contacting the seller)
If you sent an email to the seller's email address, they do not have to respond, and against eBay policy to do so
Did you get tracking?
What was the estimated delivery date for the shoes?
Better to start your own topic with exactly what happened, on the forum for eBay USA
Rather than make an unrelated comment on an old post from someone else, on a forum for a country on the other side of the world
