why does ebay take down honest feedback just cos the seller ask them too wahts the point in feedback

I leave truly honest feedback for this guy who sells iPads he says they are brand new, but they are not he sent me one with a stretch and he said I did it when I asked to return it he said no you did it since they he bee so nasty and childish and will keep selling there iPads which are used as brand new in the end I got to send the iPad back but they have taken down my feedback the guy is nasty the feed back was the truth what is the point in asking people to put feedback if then ebay take it down when asked by an awful sell the is what he put what an awful person is there anything I can do to appeal this I told the truth I did not pay for it to gon aback he did what the point  in feedback? I sent in all the proof but they still really let him get away with this I will stop using ebay after 19 years cos I am just blown away by how they could let this guy still sell iPads brand new when they are used.

In the case of the OP,  this is a deliberate attempt to scam buyers into thinking the iPads are new.

I'm now wondering how many  more  negative feedback's been removed.

19 items sold , only 4 in the last month.

The seller hasn't left feedback for any buyers.

Only 6 buyers have left positive feedback  and  one of those is revised. 

Instead of doing anything about it,  eBay has "rewarded" this scammer with 4 positive feedback

"This seller successfully completed an order   -   eBay automated Feedback"

IMO  buyers , especially new buyers, will see this an an eBay endorsement of the seller.

Well Casey, as I suspected there was no email from any "manager/supervisor" today, it just goes to show that eBay's staff will spin out lies and disinformation to suit themselves. Have a gander at the listing 375532797544 and a look at the new seller's "performance".............😎
