All my latest purchases are not arriving by the due date is this due to overload of online purchases or just **bleep** Aus Post and courier services (or lack of )

Are you ordering Chinese stuff from sellers that state their items come from Aus ?
Always check where an account is registered before buying.
Chinese sellers are known for misrepresenting location.
Also keep in mind those dates are only estimates given to eBay by AP and are probably AP's ideal estimates.

The estimated delivery dates are fantasy land Australia Post supplied and eBay inserted inventions. I have rarely experienced them reflect reality

eBay doesn't have 'due dates', unless you're exclusively purchasing guaranteed delivery items. All other items have have ETAs.
ETAs aren't due dates. It stands for 'Estimated Time (of) Arrival'.
They are guidelines, not promises.

just as an aside . . . . . pretty poor form to leave unjustifiable feedback like this for sellers:
Item took 10 days to arrive , another poor poor performance from Aus Post
Happy with seller but let down by poor actions of Couriers Please late delivery
Didn't receive until 19th but Aus Post is what it is. Good product

I doubt the OP cares. Or that they have complained to AP/courier company
After all, the seller is at fault for using (whatever company it was) and for not making sure said company did'nt do their job better

Where abouts do you live?
I have been finding the opposite, as all of my purchases have been arriving on or nefore the ETA, no worries.
A few years back i was having trouble with my post too, with mine lagging behind other areas. It came to a head when a friend sent out invites and mine arrived a week-yes a week!!-after friends in the next suburb had received theirs.
Go onto the Aust Post website and make a formal complaint. They will investigate & if the postal service in your area is a bit slack it might shake things up if they find head office looking into their performance.
It made a difference in my area.
And at the risk of being shot , I will say that ETA's may be only estimates but on the whole, they are very accurate. It's possible something might run a day or so late (though hasn't happened to me for a long time) but if you do buy something that goes well over eg a week over, open an item not received claim.

Guidelines the dates may well be, but we just had a case of a buyer opening an INR case the day after the "estimated" delivery date.
PayPal funds put on hold etc
