why is it when we have problems with sellers ebay reckon it is not thier place to do anything

according to ebay the buck stops with the buyer if things go south with a seller and that it is not thier responsability to do anything about it .

i myself am going to close my account as i am over being ripped of and being ignored by ebay

Why? Because you need to know the process for opening a dispuite. Do not blame ebay for your lack of understanding. If something goes "south" you need to open a dispute through PAYPAL not ebay. A few basic steps and all your heartache would have been solved.

What do you expect ebay to do to help you?

If you have a problem with a seller after you have purchased an item there is nothing ebay can do as they do not handle the money.

Your issue would be with paypal.  Have you opened a dispute yet?

I have a standard C&P now for the buyers who feel so hard done by by the sellers........

Scam/Bad sellers are the bottom dwellers I agree.....however, the only one that can be hurt by them are the one's who allow it to happen.
Site Map - Bottom of every page - Read up on buying/selling.
At the very least (if you think you don't need to read the procedures, here is a guideline)

1. Check feedback of any seller before purchase
2 .If in doubt as to the authenticity of seller come here and ask
3. Once you decide to purchase Pay by paypal
4. Open INR dispute if item has not arrived by day 40 - no matter what the seller tells you
5. Escalate dispute to claim if item has still not arrived within the next 15 days.
6. Leave negative feedback before 60 days to warn others, you can always ask to have this FB removed and can repay the seller if your item arrives later.

Simples

You are in Newcastle, Narelle? I am not far away. Was in Beaumont St, last Tuesday enroute to my daughter's home.

I'm a born and bred Warners Bay girl myself. Lived there for the first 30 years of my life. I moved away in '98. It scares me going up there now, it's changed a LOT since I moved away! I need to use a GPS due to all the bypasses and new roads that have been put in!

Much worse if you visit Cessnock or Necnok as you would know it.There are many ways to get there but no signs how to get back to Newy & i get lost every time.I guess that's how they get the population up.

Had nice little roadside drug bust around the corner tonight.Cops everywhere chasing some dude on foot & even searched my son's hoon car looking for a drug fugutive that they though he may have been hiding while he drove off to get cat food.Cat LOLMy son is the straightest anti drug P plater i know of & he is very boring too.

Trippy night here so I'm drinking wine before i go to sleep.

Yes assorted  peoples,i know I'm off topic again.Feel free to yell at me about this after happy hour.

Continuing off topic, so don't read if not interested. We had heaps of cops here last Wednesday after someone found a BODY in the creek behind my place. I don't think I've ever seen so many cops. I didn't know we had that many cops in town!!! I spent the night in a flap thinking we had a murderer on the loose, but they aren't treating it as suspicious. If it's who I think it is, he was a heavy drinker, so probably missed the bridge and fell in and drowned. Quite sad really as he was only 41.

I, like so many people, have a photo standing 'under Neath'. I reckon that sign post would have to be one of the most photographed signs in the country! Funny how the caption is always the same "this is me standing under Neath".

OK, you can all yell at me now.

Jingoes! Now you have to go out through Heddon Greta (almost to Kurri) to get on the new freeway to Singleton, where my daughter lives. I thought for a while, I was doing a jenny without a sense of direction thingoe.
