I want to cut out lots and lots of Christmas trees from cardboard or heavy paper but don't know what to use or what to buy.
I want the easiest way possible but don't want to buy an expensive machine as this is most likely a one off project.
Ideally the tree shape would be a very basic Christmas tree shape and about 6 cm to 8 cm long but would consider smaller or larger.
I have looked at some items but I don't know if I buy the die do I need the cuttlebug to use it or do the dies work on their own?
If I can find a suitable and affordable cutter is their any limit to how thick the card can be that needs cutting.
My local newsagent has A4 sheets of cardbaord with gold one side and just plain white cardboard the reverse side so I was thinking of sticking the sheets together so that they are gold both sides and thought the neater way to do it would be to glue the card together and then cut the trees but worry it might be too thick.
Another option would be to sprinkle glitter onto palin white card or paper that has been glued together either before or after being cut and is it possible to sue a spray adhesive for gluing the glitter?

Hey bump, felt sorry for your plight and since no-one is answering you I'll give it a go.
Not a scrapbooking person, but maybe this will help a bit
Good luck. Maybe if this is not what you want it will give you an area to search

Hi, that punch only creates a 3cm x 3cm tree, and the cardstock cannot be thick. If you're still after something larger, I'd be happy to help. What is your budget per tree? How many do you need?
