From Googling Daspyl was the trade name registered by Plumbing supplier John Danks & Co of Melbourne so it would not be unique to this item. I know there are people who collect old locks and keys but that is usually for their intrinsic design attractiveness or functionality. To me this is just a piece of old metal but it would not cost you anything to try. Collectables - Tools Hardware Locks.
