Sellers still trying to sell these chines forgeries.

the 1932 florin forgery is easy to detect with the broken emu leg a dead give away.

Buyers beware.

Yes I did  Kopenhagen5

And guess what, I've been caught in the early days a couple of times with these chinese copies because people weren't stamping them as copies and were selling them as genuine.

That last website link has helped me avoid trouble a few times, Andrew does a great service with his information.

1932 florin forgery

Hello.

I have collected and studied Australian coins and notes for 45 years.

The emu leg is not how I tell a fake florin - I need to look at it for one or two seconds.

Here is a guy selling Chinese garbage at present:

There is absolutely no doubt that this is a Chinese cast 1932 token coin - it's worthless.

eBay don't care and the seller has no morality.

A lot of this seller's coins appear fake.

Lets hope buyers are smart enough to have them checked out before the return case deadline runs out.

They don't just appear fake - they are.

It looks like someone stepped on that auction with a dummy account to kill it - I hope they did.

Hi Peter,

Good advice on fakes, and they are getting cleverer with newer and easily accessible technology....
