these two found in amongst a lot of 20 jelly preserving glass jars from the 1910s - 20s...
wondering what they could be.... lids of something perhaps, measurers? they are wider at the top and look like a different type of glass - any ideas ..... curious...
they measure 5cm height and 6cm diameter at the top.... thanks

They could be bulb jars, where a flowering bulb such as a Hyacinth is placed into the wider neck of the jar and the base filled with water. The roots grow into the water and the bulb wll complete its flowering cycle in that position. Useful for having flowering bulbs indoors.

i've wondered about these, the best i could think of were liners out of a wooden tea caddy.
