Hello to all old friends! I hope you are well! The bad penny turns up again in need of help please!
I've a listing of 5 small dog figurines, dachshund, westie & 3 that I believe to be Aust pottery. The bidding is currently at 7 bids & $52.99. Why?
I admit I didn't do my homework on this lot. Just things from my curio cabinet. I'd love to know which, if any, items are of most interest (I have similar still here) Thanks for any ideas on this? Thanks for any help. Karon.

Thank you. With our injury list, we have done very well to get this far. Hoping for the best, but I fear the cricket season may be starting Sunday morning.

dont take it too badly SS. all of the old south melbourne players would have been happy to just play finals. a lot of them didn't play one

Thanks everyone! & a special hello to Hynes & no the thread wasn't hijacked as I too am a Swans fan from way back & would have mentioned them myself!
I take it the funny eared dogs were the Darbyshire ones? I thought they looked like Aust pottery. They've been hanging out in a cabinet here for so long that I don't even recall where & when I got them.
I'm having to get rid of a lot of my smaller breakables before I drop them. My left hand has become practically useless & the thumb will not grasp now! Makes typing even harder & my sticky tape woes are a horrid chore when packing parcels.
I haven't been here for ages, but knew the great boardies here would know why that particular listing was creating so much interest. As Kitty said above; I should do my homework, but in all honesty I just wanted them to have a good home before they ended up smashed on the floor! It's so upsetting to have old pieces dropped. If Mon is around I should tell her I dropped one of my Canadian soapstones. The poor raccoon now has no tail & only one ear, but I can't bring myself to throw him away. Cheers & much thanks, K.

Hi Karon
Bugga about the Swans eh? I'm happy for Freo though as it's their first GF.

You maybe missing something?
Some of these go for good prices depending on who they are made by,do your research is my tip.
Good luck with them.
These new boards take you to eBay.com if you click on View Listings, so you only see items that are listed Internationally. Just add .au after com in the address bar, hit enter and you will see all listings. Quite simple (but very annoying and should not be necessary.)
Just to update - this annoying glitch has now been fixed, and clicking on View Listings now reverts to ebay.com.au, showing all the seller's listings.
