Does anyone have ideas about what FMH can stand for? l have some English Duraline Grindley plates here (on the back says Duraline Super Vitrified Grindley Hotelware England Loftus Moran Pty Melbourne).
On the front of each plate is a border and the initials FMH:
Would like to know what the FMH is. l've searched for hotels but nothing comes up.

Footscray Market Hotel ? fieldings melbourne hotel ? Free masons hotel ? french maids hotel ? the possibilities seem endless , these were made to order so its some establishment that existed at the time, it may no longer exist at all or by that name .
