Grimwade set ID

A set like this was usually known in Australia as a water set. Alternative names - lemonade set, beer set, cordial set.

"The Grimwade" line of hand cut crystal was introduced by Crown Crystal Glass in the 1930s. It was hailed as "absolutely hand made and hand cut by skilled Australian artisans" and guaranteed to have "a direct appeal to the tastes of every woman". (Powerhouse Museum web site). I understand production continued until the 1950's.

There is a jug that looks much like yours in this 1941 advert, though these glasses are tumblers rather than your goblet shaped.

There used to be a very knowledgeable person who knew the names of all these glass / crystal patterns; I'm afraid I don't. Except that obviously it is diamond cut.
