Homemade pottery or store bought?

l seriously hate trying to read names on the bases of things.

This small pot - any guesses if its something home crafted or a store bought. All it has is the writting on the bottom and part of a date maybe?

Starts with R and ends in d, U or L,  but isn't Richmond or Richard.

Numbers end in 81 so 1981?

Any ideas?

Oh No! l am so sorry, l didn't read Wilma's post correctly. l now wish l could remove mine because l thought she was being funny and of course, its no laughing matter at all.Wilma - l am sorry. It must be awlfully upsetting to try and get everything back in order. l do hope your collection turns up soon and you can get back into the normal swing of things.

No Offence taken, love the little dog, you would get the same result if you came to visit me - in my shed - Jesse would firstly smell you all over to see if you had been near another dog, then you would get the licks, especially if you had body lotion on your legs, after you sat down, she would be sitting on your knee.  Have to say she is an excellent "watch dog", she sits and watches, doesn't bark until I get there then she is quite noisy.

At this minute I am looking for my recipe books, they are here somewhere, need a recipe for "Shanks Creole", shanks, tomato sauce, hot sauce, mustard, brown sugar, onions and water - have no idea of the quantities, they surely do taste good with mashed potatoes and green beans.  Will go have another look now that Neil has his market things out of the other shed, might just find them.
