Hynes they are especially good at pushing trolleys but you have to be careful they don't fill the trolleys. :^O

Let him know how much you appreciate that. I've got OH trained to do the grocery shopping now, works great! Mind you he did come home today with a big bag of those Red Rock Deli Potato Chips - Spiced Moroccan Chicken & Lemon flavour. They were taking up too much room in the cupboard so we just had to eat the lot tonight. ๐Ÿ™‚

Zara is 11 months old today!! :-x
From 15th March we start two days/week minding her. For a couple of months from April we'll have her for 3 days a week while her other grandmother is OS.

Aren't men gorgeous, hynes?

Especially when they help with the housework. :^O
My OH hangs the washing out for me because I can not tilt my head back to see the lines. He stretches singlets and T-shirts to billy-oh, and when I asked him about this, he said it will dry quicker. :^O ROTFPML

I must say though he is a good shopper and trolly pusher. While I stand at the Deli to get served, he gets the bread, butter, milk and coffee. At least he knows how much of each I usually get, but heaven help me when I start on the meat counters. OH asks; "Do we really need all that meat?" My answer; "Yes, Darling, remember it has to last us a fortnight." (with a sweet, indulgent smile, because I don't eat much meat.) And he can never remember if we need more toilet paper. :^O

I just wish he had a big shed to potter around in and I could go shopping on my own. I love window shopping or browsing in some of the shops, but it's not a man thing to go in to a shop if you don't need to buy anything, so my meandering time is cut short. :_|

I hope everyone is fine and feels on top of the world.
Cheers, Erica :-x

Missed the 2nd day UPDATE .... but that's OK - we had a short notice Big Day Out - 2 hour drive to visit OH's more elderly Uncle & Aunt at Kilcoy ..... ๐Ÿ˜ž sorry Leonie / apple - didn't even 'think' before we left to contact you & see if you might have been "IN" for a meet-up somewhere in the vicinity. Next time maybe?? ๐Ÿ˜„

BTW - We managed a couple of stops at oppies on the way too ~~~ ๐Ÿ˜‰ because I was driving. :^O Added a couple of things to my collections ๐Ÿ˜‰

Erica - I know EXACTLY what you mean about OH hanging out the washing.... my OH always ALWAYS ALWAYS wants to give me 'points' in my T-shirts / tops where I don't have or even want 'points' - after all these years you would have thought my protestations about peg marks & points on the hems would have sunk in :_|

Mon - those Red Rock chips sound scrumptious.... have noted on next week's list to try them - TA !!

3rd day UPDATE~~~ WE went grocery shopping this arvo ( after more cleaning again today ) & I got to push the trolley this time but for good reason..... ๐Ÿ˜ž woke up with a very sore toe this morning. I do recall that I clipped the corner of the lounge a few nights ago ?maybe Sunday or Monday but can't remember when - strange though that tonight it's sooooooo sore & discoloured and I wonder if I have done some damage or ๐Ÿ˜ฎ broken it .....can't bend it. Will find out tomorrow when I go to work : one of the perks of my job ๐Ÿ˜‰

Hi Hynes, pity we missed you this time. We will be looking forward to meeting both of you one day in the future.
Leonie and Apple.
Hope your toe isn't broken it certainly sounds painful.

Don't know when the next time will be that we will be in your neck of the woods but hopefully OH's future plans will be better 'future-planned' than this visit was.
