I Need Help With Collectors Cards Alice In Wonderland Theme

Hi everyone

Please I really hope someone can help me with this item. It is a complete set of Alice In Wonderland Collector Playing Cards in its original tin. I have searched these cards on eBay and see them selling for $1.50 per card? Is this the value or am I missing something? I have here the Tin, 52 Cards and 2 Jokers 54 Cards in total. Would it be best to sell them as a set or split them up. I would love to know.

Thank you all for taking the time to read this. See Pictures Attached

Afraid I have no knowledge about this particular card set. I have generally found that it is POTENTIALLY more profitable to sell swap cards individually than in a complete set. However it is INFINITELY more tiresome and can take a whole lot longer to realise that extra profit. If it were me, I would try an auction listing starting at - $55? $65? (whatever you think) for the complete deck; if the cards can really sell regularly for $1.50 each, people will want to bid to make that profit for themselves. If you have no luck the option to split up is always there. Good luck with whatever you decide.

It would take forever to sell them one at a time.

If  you auction them (great photos BTW) there is virtually no profit

for a seller to resell, individually,  if you start them at $55 -$65

If you go into completed listings, you will see that they are not

selling, individually, at all.

They are not vintage, but modern cards and I would start the

auction at $20 - $25

Good luck

I think your starting price is very realistic, but thought as some have sold for $1.50 each (or $4.00 for 2) that the OP may not have been impressed with a low start price. Always the opportunity to list again with a lower start price. Agree the photos (particularly the last one) are excellent.

They have only sold 1 card -  $1.50 for the whole of August - hardly walking out the door.

A seller will check the completed listings before bidding.

A vintage deck of cards, unopened from the 1920's - 50's would maybe get

a price of $50, but doubtful.  It also depends on how common they are.

I only see these cards as being collectable as a deck

The most I have paid for a deck was $30 for an unopened 1920's deck

that still had the US tax stamp intact.  They were not an uncommon card,

but had the added bonus of the sealed tax stamp.

There are decks listed for much more, but they are vintage, not modern.

And the Americans always over-value

But, sure, try it out first - see if there are watchers.  Then lower the price,

if they don't get a nibble

edit:   Show a photo of the Jokers and the Ace of Spades for collectors

The movie with Helena Bonham-Carter dates to 2010
