I was going to give the topic the title
Bells and Bicycles in Bruge
But seeing we are only here for another night decided not to.
Why Bicycles and Bells?
Well the bicycle rules!!!! they have right of way beware any pedestrian that gets in their way,as I found out.Honestly the bicycles do have right of way.
Bells ring every fifeteen minutes and it is lovely,so European.
Went to the markets today, just brand new goods nothing old to find, did find a couple of antique shops but was very dissapointed in them.
The weather is just perfect, plenty of autumn sun, hope it stays that way.Hopefully I will be able to post photos next week.

At Halifax Yorkshire till tomorrow, then Scotland.
Today was not an easy day as I went to see my beloved Aunty Muriels final resting place,an emotional day in more ways than one.
Took my cousin Keith out for lunch and talked about all sorts,a few tears were shed between the three of us.
Do hope the weather improves as we head further north.

Our journey from Halifax to Penrith was not too bad except for the fog and rain and the hold up on to the motorway.
Half way to Penrith the weather cleared to would you believe SUNSHINE,then I realised I had left my new partial bottom denture at Halifax.Oh well that is $1400 down the drain, said me.
To cheer ourselves up we did a detour to Lake Windermere in the Lake District,a very beautiful part of the UK.
On arrival at Penrith I asked the receptionist if she could ring the Halifax Travelodge and explained what I had done.
The denture had been found and it will be posted to Devon, phew what a relief.
Today we head for Edingburgh for two nights, hurray may be able to get some washing done, and maybe some serious "hunting".

Nothing in Edinburgh except beautiful buildings and of course the castle.
Today in Ayre I bought a three trumpet epergne in a white Carnival or Victorian glass and a beautiful Caithness vase with what looks like Romeo and Juliet etched on it plus Caithness.
Tomorrow we are off to Perth and do some scenary looking.
