I haven't seen one myself but they were apparently not uncommon - there is one listed on Abe which is described as "Ten Thousandth" (I assume printing.) To me the most interesting thing would be to try and work out who the individual people were - like an autograph or birthday book. The VIctorians developed endless genteel ways of amusing themselves during those long afternoons in the drawing room.
thanks for your answer i have shown this to a teacher and he knows quite a few of the names [ he is also a historian] from adelong he also thought would be great to find some family members from the book my copy is red so far only blue are mentioned
