How do I report a suspect fraud ring to eBay? It appears to me that eBay does every thing possible to PREVENT being directly contacted when there is this type of problem. I'm talking about items listed for sale for thousands of dollars that are worth less that 10$. Report Item button is disabled by who knows. Sellers locations are all over Australia.

How do you know this is a fraud โringโ ?
Scammy sellers asking thousands of dollars for something like a common as muck $2 coin have been around since eBay stated, as are the buyers who happily support such scams
Are the listings you are trying to report active/current or ended?
Are you on the app or the real site
Why canโt you contact eBay? eBay help is at the top of every page

You do realise that a buyer has the option to buy an item or not to buy an item.
And the same goes for a seller, we have the option of listing an item for $10 or for $10,000, Now if it is only worth $2, than the buyer should be smart enough to buy the $10 one, and not the $10,000.
Not sure what your issue is. The price is presented to the buyer, they don't have to hit the Buy it now button.
You seem to buy stamps and collectibles of that nature, pricing is extremely subjective. And as Sandy said an example are the $2 coins, which again its not fraud, its buyers not doing their homework. And the seller trying to get the best price for an item. I guess when you go into a car yard you pay the price listed on the car windscreen as well.

"Report Item button is disabled by who knows"
A few I looked at are very obviously hijacked accounts and I've reported them.
Which item number has the report button been disabled - don't mention the seller's name

After looking at it, one scammer just sent me an offer of $3000 less then the advertised price of $30,000.
These are fraudulent listings for non existent items.

The OP has not identified the product, so don't know what you are looking at or why.
Sandy has speculated that it relates to coins, but the OP has not confirmed.
Would love to see the OP's evidence that shows any connection between the relevant accounts.
Note. Ebay can take action against members making unsubstantiated reports.

So you know for a fact they are non existent, or just sounds good for your story
I know exactly what the OP is talking about and I don't need to explain how or why to anyone.
Obviously neither of you were part of the Hijack Hunters team.
I was.

Oh, somebody thinks they know their way around the net.
Sounds like you are connected to the OP, and often on these boards it turns out to be the OP masquerading as someone else in an attempt to support there post.
As you are aware what the OP is referring to, perhaps you would like to enlighten us with some listing numbers.
Probably the dancing man or HH
Considering a single piece of nutri grain sold for over $1000. any thing is possible.
And of course there is the paperclip trade up to a ferrari.

If you are selling an item worth $10 for thousands, why would you not supply what you sold,
why would the item be non existent.
