Happy 2012 everyone and I hope you find some lovely treasure this year.
Sharon, do you have anything from your weekend 'fix' to show off. ๐

Thanks Pip for the info. I will list them in a couple of days, the last set I saw (6 months ago?) went for great price but the damage will hold them back.. There must be plenty of Darbyshire sets around over here as I don't recall seeing any in Australia. I think I have found 7 sets in total. I have sold them all except a Pig and Fish set which are in the garage as the have a little damage. Its been a great couple of months for pottery finds long may it continue. Cheers Billy

i never see them around these parts even at a $$ price, and have wondered why. i have only found 1 blue glazed boot with a darbyshire ware foil sticker (which i broke the same day but still have) interesting that NZ is a better hunting ground.

Just an update on the Fenton Fantail bowl,:-D
I've decided to chicken out and try and sell it via our local FB site.
I'll start at $25 and then just come down till it sells hopefully,;-)
Had it all packaged up ready to "sell" but dropped it,(so had to re-open it to make certain it wasn't damaged).
Then checked with PO and they would cube it,(so postage cost make it unviable to sell on here),:O
Thanks for the help in the past, but this might finally convince me not to pick up fragile item,]:)
