Here's another,i have also posted on the glass board without any answers yet.
The bowl i found yesterday & the plate i have had for afew years.
Bowl is quite lge 23cm diameter x 12cm high (memory guess)
sits on feet similar to the pattern around the top edge.
The plate is a bread n butter size & poss a bowl as it is raised to the sides.
They both show a green but do not glow, poss older molded glass or newer recycled but i dont really think so,in the end does not matter i think its very pretty n i love it!

Hi Kat
Can't help much with your glass, sorry :(. The amber platter looks American, but not 100% sure.
I bought this plate this morning. It caught my eye when I saw the yellowish green glaze on the back, kinda reminded me of some pieces made by Darbyshire.....I wish :).
Measuring at 24cm in diameter.....If this is Darbyshire, wouldn't it be marked as such since it was quite a large piece?? Therefore, I assume this one isn't.....any comments of the maker / country of origin?
Cheers and TIA
Brenton

Finally have one of these to add to my glass collection - Walther and Sohne 3 Graces candlestick/comport base.
It arrived from the UK in one very squashed box after 3 weeks of waiting - and by some miracle was intact despite only what I would consider average packing, just a lot of bubblewrap. Goes to show sometimes you can be lucky ๐
cheers
Rae
PS Finally figured out how to add the picture to the post

Well clearly I didn't! anyone know why we can no longer put pictures in our posts?

You still can,:-D
Just copy the Direct link option if you use Photobucket and put it in via the little tree option when you type your post.

Cheers Brenton, hopefully when i replace the photo on the glass board i will have some luck over there with the big bowl.
No help from me with the plate yet but it is lovely.
Rae just yummo, lucky duck what a gorgeous piece.
I have been watching quite abit of art deco lately, when the pieces i bought arrive i shall show n tell.
Hopefully they arrive in good order, you were very lucky by the sounds of it.
Am thinking about doing a fair with a friend thats coming up & thought if i was not happy with the figurines when they come i may take them along.
But i dont think that i will be able to let them go.....
Is your's for a pair or are you hoping to find another?

To get the pics in the post you need to tick the box that says "Embed image in post body".
on โ07-07-2012 11:36 PM
For some reason I am no longer able to chose the embed image in post option, as soon as I add a file that option fades out and just tthe link at the top of the post appears when I post. I cannot see any embedded photos from anyone else either, for example all I can see in this entire thread is go-tazz's little animation.
I will try to post something from photobucket
